ESREL2027 will be held at ETH Zurich’s Zentrum Campus, which is located in the center of the city. Arrival Information can be found here.

Accommodation

Zurich offers a wide range of accommodation options. Thanks to the city’s efficient public transport network, the conference venue can be reached easily from all parts of Zurich.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. We strongly encourage participants to book well in advance to secure accommodations that best suit their individual preferences.

Bookings can be made through the usual accommodation platforms or directly with hotels. Participants may also book through our hotel booking partner, KUONI, at this page.

Getting around Zurich

Zurich is a compact city with a reliable and efficient public transport system. Its extensive network and frequent services provide easy access to all parts of the city. At the same time, many visitors enjoy exploring Zurich on foot.

The ZVV App is an excellent public transport tool that we highly recommend all delegates to download before arriving. It allows you to plan your journey and find the most efficient routes around Zurich. Click here to download the App.

If you plan to travel outside Zurich by train we recommend to check the SBB website and app for train timetable and ticket purchase. The website and app are fully integrated with all public transport, including local transportation across all Switzerland.

Getting to Zurich City Centre from Zurich Airport

Zurich airport is located just 10km from the city centre, meaning a short transfer time of 10-15 minutes.

1) Train or S-Bahn – get this if you want to get to the city centre fast! Frequency: Trains run daily, every 10 minutes, between 05.00am and midnight. Journey Time: 10-15 minutes. Cost: 7CHF per single trip.

2) Tram Line 10 – get this to see some beautiful sights on the way to the city centre. Frequency: Every 15 minutes from 09.00 – 21.00. Journey Time: 35 minutes. Cost: 7CHF per single trip.

There is a discounted travel pass offered to ESREL 2027 attendees that covers the following:

  • Travel between 06 June 2027 – 10 June 2027
  • Ticket covers 1 zone: 110 (City)
